Apparently over 25 councils have agreed to allow free parking on December 7th in the interest of supporting Small Business Saturday.
Sorry if I don’t run around the office whooping for joy. Laudable as it is, perhaps a more long-term strategy would be more appropriate – along with a long look at Welsh business rates and the quality of council provision.
Being a small business in Wales, we understand how important a lot of these issues are to other small businesses and sole traders. Isn’t it about time we started having some ‘joined-up’ thoughts when it comes to the small business sector?
Don’t hold your breath.
