IDS security proudly received BAFE accreditation recently, which is the UK’s independent registration body for fire protection companies. To achieve this title, companies must undergo an assessment of their ability to provide high-quality fire protection solutions. Companies that meet this level of quality and competence receive a Certificate of Registration.

Their past installations include large government buildings, shops, residential properties and offices of all sizes. The company is owned by Julie Halton and Jennifer Horan who took over IDS security in 2013. Together, Julie and Jennifer had thirty years’ experience within the company. They were
so passionate about the business that they decided to buy the company when the previous owner decided to retire. They have moved the company from strength-to-strength, even taking on contracts as large as £700,000.
Both Julie and Jennifer are passionate about supporting the local community and frequently participate in volunteer work. Their love for the community is why they want to make it as safe as possible and they believe fire security is a big step towards this.
