Yes, you read it right. Business in Wales is booming. Sure you can listen to enough people (including various Welsh media sources) who’ll tell you it’s the pits out there but, the truth is, there’s a lot to be positive about.
We thought we’d do a little research this week and asked Welsh people in business three basic questions – the answers we got were overwhelmingly positive:
Is the economy improving?
Four out of five said they thought the economy was improving.
Compared to last year is your business down or up?
Overwhelmingly, the answer was up.
Will you be employing more people in the next twelve months?
Three out of five said yes.
It might be a straw poll but the straw certainly won’t brake the camel’s back. In fact, we think the camel is going to be a lot better off in twelve months time if things continue to improve as they are.
