The inaugural show will air on Monday 13 February at 6 o’clock.

‘The Crunch’ will occupy two hours on Made in Cardiff, from 6 – 8pm, Monday to Friday. The show will blend regular news updates every 15 minutes with features about people, places and stories from around the region. Made in Cardiff presenters, Sian King and Tom Evans, together with News Presenter Laura Allen and Live Out and About Presenter, Daniel Wilson will be regular anchors for the programme.

In addition to news, there will be an entertainment thread woven throughout the show. Information on what’s happening at the end of the street, where to go at the weekend and top tips on the best theatre, live gigs and comedy shows to see, will be updated constantly, providing a live, interactive ‘Go To Guide’ for viewers who are keen to know what’s on nearby.

Says Daniel Glyn, Station Manager, Made in Cardiff, ‘This is a very exciting new initiative for Made in Cardiff. The energy and fast-paced action will give a ‘Drive Time’ feel to the show, giving us the opportunity to become an authentic, proactive voice of the City. We’ll be interacting with local people throughout the week and reporting directly on the news, views and action that really matters to people living in the area.’
