Russell Scott-Lawson, owner of Hawkes (previously Hawkes Essentials), has a well-earned reputation for only selling the very best in his stylish shop in Cardiff’s beautiful Morgan Arcade.
After a recent five figure refurbishment, Hawkes is looking better than ever, and Russell’s business is going from strength to strength. Russell prides himself on the high quality of service customers receive and, despite having many celebrities and sports people as fans, Russell is always tight lipped about his clientele.
Although he did let slip that Malky Mackay (Cardiff City Manager) has also purchased the particular pair of Jeffery West shoes I had bought. Having said that, I think they’ll look better on me but I tip my hat to Malky – he always looks good in a suit. One all Malky – one all.
